The Bone Steelers will once again compete in the prestigious Dubai Rugby Sevens tournament and the Scottish based side have today announced details of their 2010 campaign.

The team will compete in the Veterans Tens with a host of former Scotland internationalists involved from December 2-4

Former Scotland caps Stuart Reid and Rowen Shepherd will this year be in charge of team management and the 2010 squad will be announced exclusively on www.bonesteelers.com from July 19.

Three players will announced every month resulting in a squad of 15 leaving for the tournament in early December.

Members of the Bone Steelers squad will be posting tweets on the team’s Twitter page www.twitter.com/bonesteelers, as the excitement builds towards this year’s event.

The Bone Steelers made it to the semi-final of last year’s Veterans Tens and according to founder Colin Bone this year they are aiming to go one step better. He said: “It was great to be back at the Dubai Sevens last year and we were all really pleased to make the semis, but this year we want to make the final for all our Scottish supporters in Dubai and around the world.”
