Misery continues for Scotland
1st Mar 2010
Scotland suffered an embarrassing 16-12 defeat to Italy in Saturday's Six Nations encounter in Rome.Pablo Canavosio's superb try gave Italy victory and it was the Italians that took the early initiative with Mirco Bergamasco slotting two penalties, before Dan Parks replied to square the scores at half-time.
Parks penalties twice put the Scots ahead, with Bergamasco replying.
But Canavosio found a gap to touch down under the posts and Bergamasco's conversion ensured an Italy victory that leaves Scotland without a point.
Next up for the Scots is a home game against Andy Robinson's former team England on the 13th of March.
