The Bone Steelers Foundation

Jonny

The Bone Steelers Foundation is committed to helping raise money for various charities through rugby related initiatives and was established in 2005 to help the Jonny Mitchell Appeal.

Jonny Mitchell was injured playing for North Berwick in the first scrum of the game against Hawick Linden on September 10th 2005, during his third season as captain. He dislocated two vertebrae in his neck and damaged his spinal cord.

The Bone Steelers Foundation raised over £12,000 in 2005 and 2006 to help Jonny and will continue to raise money for other selected charities each year.
